What We Do
We actively work to repair harms to Native peoples and the land caused by colonization and to build new relationships rooted in reciprocity and mutual care. We do this by:
cultivating healing and responsibility in non-Indigenous communities by addressing the internal patterns and wounds formed through histories of colonization;
honoring our interdependent relationship with land and stepping into our responsibility to land, defending and healing the land from extraction and exploitation;
following the guidance of Indigenous leaders in our collaborative work and showing up when those leaders call for solidarity and support;
supporting Indigenous sovereignty and work to return land to the care of Indigenous peoples;
redistributing accumulated wealth to Indigenous-led organizations;
dismantling laws and policies that uphold systems of inequality and enable exploitation of land.
Our Programs
Our honor land tax program offers information, support, and pathways for settlers to redistribute their wealth and land to local Indigenous-led organizations.
We offer anti-colonial training and group support for our members wanting to show up in solidarity with Indigenous-led movements.
We facilitate community story-telling and writing events to encourage our members to explore, re-define and articulate their relationships with the more-than-human world rooted in reciprocity.
